Responsibilities
- Lead frontline delivery of statutory homelessness services under Part 7 of the Housing Act 1996
- Oversee homelessness assessments, prevention and relief work, and complex statutory decision making
- Provide confident leadership, governance oversight, and focus on staff wellbeing
- Coach and support team members to build confidence, resilience, and skill
- Manage high-risk casework with calm decisiveness and clear communication
Key requirements
- Experienced housing professional with strong knowledge of homelessness legislation
- Proven experience managing staff in a frontline statutory service
