Private Client Solicitor – Torquay

Overview

In this Torquay-based Private Client Solicitor role, you manage a diverse caseload in Wills, Probate, LPAs and Trusts while delivering high-quality client care. You will work within a friendly, collaborative team and have autonomy to develop your practice. The role includes mentoring junior colleagues and contributing to business development and department growth. This is an engaging opportunity to deepen technical expertise and shape the team’s direction in a supportive culture.

Responsibilities

• handle Wills, Estate Administration, Probate, LPAs, Trusts, Inheritance Tax Planning and Trust Administration
• supervise and mentor junior colleagues
• contribute to business development
• help shape the growth of the department
• support client service excellence across a broad private client remit

Key requirements

• 5+ years’ PQE in private client work
• ideally STEP membership or working towards it
• strong experience across private client matters, including complex work
• compassionate, approachable, client-focused
• confident in developing junior team members and embedding best practice
