Overview
As a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer you will act as the site’s electrical specialist while also handling mechanical maintenance. You will support breakdowns, planned maintenance, upgrades and new installations, contributing to equipment reliability and production continuity. You’ll collaborate with production teams to identify faults and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role offers a varied mix of electrical fault-finding, installation work, and hands-on maintenance with a clear safety focus and development opportunities.

Responsibilities
- Electrical fault finding and repairs across PLCs, motors, drives, sensors and control panels
- Hands-on mechanical maintenance of conveyors, pumps, pneumatics and bearings
- Respond to breakdowns to minimise downtime
- Execute planned preventive maintenance and reliability improvements
- Assist with site upgrades and new electrical installations
- Support installation, commissioning and improvement of production equipment
- Collaborate with production teams to identify faults and drive improvements
- Ensure all work complies with safety procedures and site rules
Key requirements
- A time-served apprenticeship or Level 3 qualification in Electrical Engineering
- Strong electrical fault-finding, repair and installation skills
- Solid mechanical maintenance knowledge with willingness to perform mechanical work
- At least five years’ engineering experience in manufacturing
