Product Developer

Overview

In this role you will develop new and modify existing products to meet briefs, customer expectations and financial targets, delivering sustainable and repeatable quality at the right cost. You will collaborate with chefs and cross-functional teams to benchmark, validate recipes, manage inputs on the recipe system, and ensure feasibility from concept to launch. Responsibilities

• Develop new and existing recipes into commercially viable products with market benchmarking
• Input and review recipes on the recipe management system for cost, weight, and nutrition compliance
• Assess viability of new raw ingredients from operational and development perspectives
• Complete and review feasibility and regulatory documentation for internal and external sharing
• Guide concepts through the feasibility process with cross-functional teams to ensure repeatability
• Compile product costing and adjust recipes to meet commercial targets and brand standards
• Present benchmarking and new product concepts to internal and customer stakeholders
• Follow project timelines and escalate issues to prevent delays in product launch
• Support scale-up production trials ensuring kitchen and production quality alignment
• Provide leadership to keep the team safe, engaged and delivering to potential

• Proven experience in food product development
• Analytical and costings proficiency
• End-to-end product development capability from concept to launch
• Track record of validating products and producing high-quality documentation
• Confidence presenting to multiple levels and to customers
