Overview

As Operations Lead, you will safely deliver a portfolio of concurrent sites, ensuring health, safety, quality, cost and programme adherence. You’ll work to comply with CDM, MS18 and CSO6, leading site teams and maintaining strong client relationships. You’ll manage risk, contribute to quotations, and ensure project documentation and handover meet contractual and client standards. This role sits at the intersection of delivery, safety, and commercial performance, shaping reliable project outcomes. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced, client‑facing environment, driving measurable impact on project success.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver projects with values from 20k to 5m safely and to specified standards
  • Provide health and safety leadership on site and promote behavioural safety improvements
  • Support risk management processes and establish controls for safe, timely delivery
  • Manage projects under NEC3 Framework Contract requirements
  • Support and improve commercial project performance through identified opportunities
  • Lead production of quotations and estimates and manage associated risks
  • Maintain strong client/stakeholder relationships and protect company reputation
  • Ensure compliance of suppliers, subcontractors, and direct workforce with policies and standards
  • Collaborate with Senior Design Manager to ensure robust, constructible designs
  • Liaise with client Project Managers to align with MS18, CS06, programme, and cost plan
  • Deliver high-quality service and stakeholder relationships
  • Ensure contract programme delivery and compliance with British Standards and client standards
  • Provide knowledge/support to ensure quality and performance of works
  • Ensure snagging/defect-free delivery and timely final accounts and O&M information
  • Keep SharePoint project status and CVR information up to date
  • Communicate tasks clearly and motivate teams to achieve operational performance

Key requirements

  • Experience with NEC3 Framework/Contract and other frameworks
  • Health, safety, and quality leadership on construction/delivery sites
  • Qualification in a related trade (mechanical, electrical, civil, building fabric, roofing etc.)
  • Ability to obtain required security clearance for client locations
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management
  • Quotations and estimates preparation experience
