Overview
In this Senior Finance Business Partner role, you will be the trusted finance voice to the CEO, CFO, and ExCo, translating plans into funded options and decision-ready insights. You will elevate FP&A through business partnering, strategic planning, and AI-enabled workflow improvements, helping leaders understand the financial impact of strategic choices. You will drive forecasting rigor, scenario modelling, and governance to enable high-value decision making. This role offers meaningful influence across Corporate Functions, Reinsurance, and ACS in a dynamic, data-driven environment.

Responsibilities
- Lead monthly expense management and reporting across the Group
- Partner with ExCo, CFO and function leaders to challenge commercial decisions and provide finance perspective
- Frame value drivers behind strategic choices and translate plans into funded options
- Turn variance analysis, budgets and forecasts into decision-ready commentary
- Act as trusted adviser in leadership meetings to influence decisions ahead of the numbers
- Promote accountability for expenses and analyze spending trends to identify opportunities
- Own and enhance Anaplan Workforce model with scenario planning and long-term forecasting
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning across the portfolio
- Develop rapid workforce, expense and strategic scenarios for quick decision-making
- Use AI-enabled workflows to improve forecast quality and reduce manual effort
- Streamline month-end/quarter-end close and improve data-control standards
- Lead governance and controls to ensure right-first-time reporting
- Identify process improvements and drive automation for higher-value analysis
- Develop and maintain expense dashboards, reports, and KPI reporting
- Coach FP&A team in Anaplan modelling, AI-enabled working and executive communication
- Work autonomously with change initiatives approved by Head of Corporate FP&A
- Take on additional duties as needed
Key requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting or Economics; professional finance qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or CFA preferred
- 7+ years in FP&A or commercial finance
- Experience partnering with senior leaders and ExCo in a multi-entity group
- Strong strategic and commercial judgement with constructive challenge
- Advanced modelling and scenario-forecasting skills
- Experience with Anaplan or similar planning solutions; interest in leveraging AI for workflow
- Advanced skills in PowerPoint, Excel, Power BI; familiarity with Workday, Oracle, SAP, Hyperion or similar systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication for senior leaders
- Track record of improving processes, controls and data quality with automation
- Experience driving governance and operating cadence in finance
