Overview
As Product Manager for Alternative Payment Processing, you lead the strategy and delivery of bank-based payment rails within Checkout.com’s APM portfolio. You collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed APMs across the ecosystem, aligning with merchants’ needs and company OKRs. You drive API design and merchant experience, balancing new options with enhancements. You will work with multiple stakeholders to shape products that scale globally and accelerate merchant growth.

Responsibilities
- Set the strategy for your APM portfolio, balancing new offerings with enhancements using qualitative and quantitative data.
- Become expert in payment methods and collaborate with partners to drive merchant value.
- Design API and integration to deliver a consistent developer experience across products while accommodating each APM.
- Build partnerships with business, product, and tech stakeholders to gain buy-in and momentum for your products.
- Coordinate with other product and engineering leaders to align roadmaps and delivery.
- Develop deep understanding of Checkout.com customers and business.
- Foster a team culture aligned with Checkout.com’s operating principles.
Key requirements
- 3-5 years of product management experience
- Experience in payment methods, especially direct debit and account-to-account methods
- Data-driven: able to leverage data and insights to set priorities and roadmap
- Customer-first mindset balancing opportunities with immediate needs
- End-to-end mindset to drive ongoing product success
