Overview

In this role you’ll keep our production sites running safely and efficiently as an Electrically Biased Multi-Skilled Engineer. You’ll support the 4 on 4 off shift pattern and tackle maintenance across production lines, balancing planned work with rapid breakdown response. You’ll drive reliability improvements and collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain high food safety and quality standards. This is a hands-on, impact-driven position in a growing bakery brand that values continuous improvement. Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on production and packaging equipment
  • Diagnose faults and perform first-time fixes to reduce downtime
  • Work with electrical and mechanical systems across automated lines
  • Maintain health, safety and food safety standards at all times
  • Record work in site systems and follow engineering processes
  • Identify recurring issues and contribute ideas to improve reliability and performance
  • Collaborate with production and engineering colleagues across shifts
  • Escalate complex or unresolved issues per site procedures

Key requirements

  • Proven experience as an Electrically Biased Multi-Skilled Engineer in manufacturing
  • Comfortable with a 4 on 4 off rotating days and nights shift pattern
  • Strong fault-finding on automated machinery and production equipment
  • Proactive, able to prioritize under pressure
  • High attention to detail and right-first-time mindset
