Deputy General Manager – Cybersecurity – Products

Overview

In this role you will lead the design and proposal of integrated cybersecurity solutions for enterprise customers in the UK and beyond. You will drive technical solutioning for cybersecurity transformation initiatives, lead customer workshops, and coordinate across delivery, engineering, and OEM teams. You’ll act as the technical lead for strategic security deals, shaping high-level architectures and compelling proposals. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role at the intersection of consulting, architecture, and presales within a security-focused organization.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end cybersecurity solutions aligned with customer objectives
• Lead technical solutioning for enterprise transformation programmes
• Conduct customer workshops, requirements gathering and solution discovery
• Develop high- and low-level security architectures; prepare BoM and SoW
• Collaborate with delivery, engineering, and OEM teams for feasibility
• Presales & business development: act as technical lead from qualification to proposal
• Support RFP/RFI/RQ responses and present to architects, CISOs, and executives
• Engage with OEM partners to define optimal architectures and support deal shaping

Key requirements

• 8-12 years in Cyber Security
• 3-5 years in Security Solution Architecture, Security Consulting or Technical Presales
• Experience supporting medium to large enterprise opportunities
• Exposure to UK or international enterprise customers (preferred)
• Experience with systems integrators, MSSPs, telecom operators, or cybersecurity consulting firms (desirable)
• Strong solution architecture and consulting skills
• Broad knowledge across multiple cybersecurity domains
• Ability to translate customer requirements into practical security solutions
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
• Experience in technical presales and customer-facing engagements
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary technical teams
• Commercial awareness relating to large enterprise programmes
