Overview

In this role you will design and deliver scalable training solutions within Digital Realty’s Global Operations Training team to enhance knowledge retention and simplify complex concepts. You will manage the full training lifecycle from needs analysis to delivering materials across a global audience. You will collaborate with stakeholders to align initiatives with company goals and maintain Digital University compliance and content relevance. You will create instructor-led courses, eLearning, and multimedia content and track outcomes to demonstrate impact.

Responsibilities

  • Trainings Needs Analysis: identify skill gaps with managers, HR and regional teams; gather insights via surveys, interviews, and assessments; prioritize needs for targeted programs.
  • Training Program Development: design and develop programs and materials (manuals, online modules, videos, instructor-led sessions) with SMEs; tailor content for technical and non-technical roles.
  • Instructional Content Creation: develop engaging materials for virtual/in-person courses and multimedia resources; ensure content simplifies concepts and supports knowledge transfer; adhere to instructional design standards.
  • Digital University Administration: oversee daily Digital University operations, user support, compliance, content updates, and tracking of participation, completions, certifications, and evaluations; archive outdated materials.
  • Collaboration and Communication: coordinate with stakeholders at all levels to ensure alignment with organizational goals and foster a collaborative approach for scalable, global training solutions.

Key requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Education, Instructional Design, or related field.
  • Significant experience building learning and development programs in a technical field.
  • High proficiency in collaboration, interpersonal communication, and stakeholder management.
  • Knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE).
