Senior Mobile Engineer

Overview

In this role, you will design, build, and maintain mobile apps for iOS and Android to power Fuse Energy’s consumer and grid-facing experiences. You’ll collaborate with designers to deliver polished UI/UX and contribute to scalable mobile architecture. You will diagnose issues, improve app reliability, and address production challenges to ensure a smooth user experience. This role puts you at the intersection of energy innovation and consumer technology, shaping how users engage with our energy network.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain mobile applications for iOS and Android
• Collaborate with designers to ensure high-quality UI/UX and consistency
• Contribute to architectural decisions for scalable, maintainable codebases
• Test, debug, and resolve issues to ensure stability
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions to support smooth user experiences

Key requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience building mobile applications for iOS and Android
• Proficiency in Swift and Kotlin
• Strong grasp of mobile UI/UX principles and best practices
• Hands-on experience integrating RESTful APIs with mobile applications
• Familiarity with push notifications and related mobile frameworks
• Understanding of mobile security fundamentals and secure data handling
