Asset Manager

Overview

In this role you will manage a portfolio of renewable energy assets across the UK & Ireland, spanning operational and development-stage projects. You will collaborate with senior investment professionals to optimize value, coordinate with stakeholders, and support construction, development, and ongoing operations. You will leverage your engineering background to assess performance, contracts, and opportunities for repowering and BESS/solar co-location. This is a growth-focused role in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment with clear long-term progression.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of operational and development-stage renewable energy SPVs
• Serve as the primary contact for internal and external stakeholders
• Build and maintain relationships with JV partners, lenders, contractors, landowners and advisors
• Lead negotiation and renewal of commercial contracts including PPAs, O&M and site management contracts
• Oversee budgets, cash flow, invoice approvals and operational reporting
• Monitor asset performance and deliver KPI reporting
• Support construction and development activities, including site visits and stakeholder coordination
• Identify opportunities to enhance portfolio value through repowering, asset life extensions and BESS/solar co-location

Key requirements

• Degree in Engineering (Civil Engineering preferred)
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in renewable energy, infrastructure or related sector
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
• Commercially minded with excellent organizational and communication skills
