Overview

In this role you will deliver Best in Class procurement and contract advice for public and private sector clients, contributing to large-scale programmes. You will work with a dedicated Contract Services team, supporting strategic procurement, tender development, and contract delivery across major projects. The role offers growth through mentoring, training, and exposure to transformation and net zero initiatives. You will help win work and advance the firm’s procurement capabilities in a dynamic, global context.

Responsibilities

  • Provide procurement strategy advice for public and private sector clients
  • Collaborate on end-to-end procurement services for major projects or programmes
  • Support development of Contract Services offerings at Turner & Townsend
  • Support delivery of team and wider business targets
  • Contribute to work-winning capability of the Contract Services team

Key requirements

  • Strategic procurement experience
  • Tender preparation and development experience
  • Experience in developing and awarding contracts individually or as part of a team
  • Knowledge of multiple supply markets and Public Contracts Regulations or equivalent
  • Awareness of NEC and JCT standard form contracts
  • Level 4 Diploma in Procurement and Supply (or willingness to pursue)
  • Degree related to construction, civil engineering, quantity surveying, law or procurement (preferred)
  • Experience in Defence, Utilities, Infrastructure sectors (preferred)
  • Security Clearance (SC) – currently valid or can be reinstated
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement
  • Commercial acumen and understanding of commercial principles
  • Autonomy and ability to manage activities and stakeholders
