Responsibilities

• Develop electrical designs for building types (power, lighting, fire alarms, low-voltage)
• Produce design drawings, schematics, and specifications
• Coordinate with mechanical, structural, and architectural teams
• Participate in site visits, inspections, and commissioning
• Advise on sustainable and energy-efficient electrical design solutions
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers
• Ensure compliance with regulations, standards, and best practices

Key requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
• 4+ years building services electrical design experience
• Strong knowledge of UK electrical design standards and regulations
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, or similar software
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
• Experience with energy-efficient or sustainable electrical design (advantageous)
