Overview

In this role you apply AI-driven strategies to advance clinical pharmacology support for transformative medicines. You will shape AI-enabled solutions across PKS/clinical pharmacology, accelerating deliverables and enabling data-driven decisions. You collaborate across PK science, ADME/BA, and Modeling & Simulation to integrate PK insights into development plans. The position sits within Translational Medicine and offers opportunities to impact bench-to-bedside translation.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and implement high-value AI use cases to improve PKS planning, analyses and decision quality
  • Represent PK Sciences in project teams and interactions with stakeholders and regulatory agencies
  • Provide pharmacokinetic/pharmacology input to drug candidates across Research, Development and Commercial continuum
  • Collaborate with teams to use AI to accelerate understanding of PK/PD relationships and dosing strategies
  • Champion AI-enabled preparation of study protocols, reports and regulatory documents (IND/IMPDs, NDA/BLA)
  • Foster interdisciplinary collaboration among PKS, ADME/BA, M&S via PK science sub-teams
  • Model AI/ML approaches to enable data automation and regulatory document authoring
  • Work with clinicians to integrate PKS insights into study design and decision-making

Key requirements

  • Ph.D. or Pharm.D. with pharmacokinetics/drug metabolism background
  • 0–2 years in drug discovery/development (academic, CRO, biotech or pharma)
  • 2+ years in a lead role overseeing ADME/DMPK in clinical development (for Principal Scientist II) or 4+ years for Senior Principal Scientist
  • Extensive PK knowledge with PK/PD evaluation and cross-functional team experience
