Overview
In this role you will develop and enhance actuarial Prophet models to support IFRS 17 reporting, risk-based capital, and business planning. You will partner with stakeholders to translate requirements into robust modelling solutions while ensuring governance and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain and enhance Prophet models for IFRS 17, RBC, and business planning
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into modelling solutions
- Identify process improvements through automation and new approaches
- Ensure models and processes meet governance and regulatory standards with clear documentation
- Perform testing and validation to demonstrate model accuracy and reliability
- Support audit activities by evidencing governance controls
- Contribute actuarial expertise to cross-functional projects
Key requirements
- Prophet model development experience
- Prophet Professional and Prophet Enterprise experience
- Full or part actuarial professional qualification
- Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or related discipline
- Advanced MS Excel and MS Access/SQL skills
- Life insurance industry experience and knowledge of unit-linked products
- Understanding of IFRS 17 and RBC reporting requirements
- Strong analytical, numerical, and detail-oriented skills
