Overview
In this role you lead and develop the Design Management (DM) team within AECOM, driving delivery of DM activities on UK and international projects. You support leadership, oversee business planning, and ensure quality and contractual compliance across outputs and sub-consultants. You mentor colleagues, manage financial processes, and help advance DM tools and procedures. This position offers impact through shaping project delivery and expanding DM capability within a global infrastructure firm.

Responsibilities
- Lead and support the Design Management team, including mentoring and performance reviews
- Oversee sub-consultant management: responsibility matrices, back-to-back contracts, invoices, and monthly financial reporting
- Establish and implement DM procedures: roles, design programmes, deliverables, quality, budgets/change, approvals, meetings, and coordination
- Drive DM projects across the UK and internationally and contribute to accreditation
- Review team outputs for quality and contractual compliance prior to issue
- Support business planning, PM accreditation, and cross-project management
- Participate in performance reviews and staff development initiatives
