Overview

In this role you design, guide, and govern AWS-based solutions that meet customer goals. You’ll work with stakeholders to collect requirements, assess infrastructure, and outline migration paths to AWS, while applying best practices to ensure performance and security. As a trusted advisor, you’ll share insights on industry trends and emerging technologies and mentor teams to create reusable artifacts. This position sits within AWS ProServe, helping customers realize targeted outcomes through enterprise cloud adoption.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs
• Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting throughout project delivery
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective migration strategies
• Act as a trusted advisor on industry trends and emerging technologies
• Share knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and reusable artifacts

Key requirements

• Experience as a technical specialist in design and architecture
• Experience with cloud-based solutions (AWS or equivalent)
• Experience in external or internal customer-facing, large-scale project management
• Application modernization patterns and strategies
• Containerisation technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, EKS)
• Microservices architecture design and implementation
• Serverless computing and event-driven architectures
• API design and management
• Application refactoring and re-platforming techniques
