Sr Business Intelligence Analyst – Commercial Finance Automation

Overview

In this role you will support the Commercial Finance team by delivering financial insights and analytics for the EMEA Sales organization. You will drive top-line reporting, OPEX forecasting, and leverage Generative AI to automate workflows and improve analytics. You will translate data into a compelling business narrative, identify risks and opportunities, and collaborate across IT, Finance, Sales, and Operations to optimize processes. This role offers the chance to shape global finance solutions in a high-growth tech environment with a modern AI focus.

Responsibilities

• Provide analytics to the Commercial Finance leader, turning raw data into actionable business insights
• Use agile methods and Generative AI to automate manual workflows and streamline reporting
• Draft and present business cases for solutions with clear investment rationale
• Lead cross-functional projects to optimize processes and build global solutions
• Collaborate with Deal Desk and PAN Financial Solutions to map workflows and identify bottlenecks
• Support long-term strategic planning for Commercial Finance

Key requirements

• 3 to 5 years experience with a Masters degree or 5 to 7 years experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science or related
• Exposure to Finance and/or Sales Operations in a high-growth SaaS or tech environment
• Strong relationship building, communication and presentation skills
• Process mapping, agile methodologies, and project management skills
• Expert in translating business needs into technical requirements
• AI-Native Mindset with proven use of Generative AI to automate workflows and summarize reports
• AI, Data Science, SQL, Python skills preferred
• Advanced Google Sheets/Excel for large data analysis and complex financial models
• Experience with CRM, Planning and ERP systems such as Salesforce.com, Clari and SAP
