Overview

As Product Director at SEA you will establish and lead product management as a core function across SEA. You will shape the product vision, strategy, and lifecycle, ensuring alignment with customer needs, market opportunities, and business priorities. You’ll drive growth and profitability through robust roadmaps, portfolio governance, and cross‑functional collaboration with engineering, sales, and operations. This role sits in an expanding function within a mission to deliver market‑leading, safety‑focused solutions for naval and undersea systems. You will report to the Managing Director and help SEA deliver lasting value for customers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Own and drive SEA’s product vision, strategy, roadmaps, portfolio governance, and lifecycle decisions from introduction through retirement
  • Shape product concepts, positioning, go‑to‑market plans, and business cases using customer insight, market research, and stakeholder input
  • Lead product prioritisation, investment decisions, performance measurement, and portfolio reviews to support growth and competitive advantage
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, business development, sales, marketing, operations, finance, and external stakeholders to ensure aligned execution and clear product communication
  • Lead, develop, and manage the product team, promoting high performance, safety awareness, quality standards, and SEA’s values

Key requirements

  • significant senior product leadership experience in technology/engineering/manufacturing or related environments
  • proven track record managing complex product portfolios, developing business cases, assessing investments, and applying portfolio governance
  • ability to influence senior, executive, and board‑level stakeholders and combine strategic leadership with commercial and financial acumen
