Asset Manager

Overview

In this Asset Manager role, you coordinate asset and property management across a diverse portfolio of retail, residential, mixed-use, and commercial properties. You will drive income and value by overseeing rent collection, service charges, insurance, and related issues, while managing lease events and refurbishments. You’ll work with external professionals to enhance property value through planning and small-scale development, reporting to a senior director. Responsibilities

• Coordinate asset management across a mixed portfolio
• Oversee rent collection, service charges, insurance, dilapidations and rating issues
• Proactively manage lease events, lettings and refurbishments
• Maximise income and value through efficient asset management
• Coordinate external professionals and agents for asset-related tasks
• Manage value enhancement via planning applications and small-scale development

Key requirements

• At least 3 years of practical commercial and residential property experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Efficient organisation and strong self-management
