Overview
As an Interaction Designer at Google Health, you will lead end‑to‑end UX for integration ecosystems, shaping intuitive consumer flows for third‑party apps and devices. You will establish trust‑first controls and a universal data framework, while crafting developer‑facing experiences and clear integration pathways. You’ll collaborate with PM, Engineering, and UX Research to translate complex back‑end architectures into customer‑centric solutions. Responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end UX for Google Health integration ecosystems
- Design user‑facing controls for data permissions, prioritization, and conflict resolution
- Create a universal 3P data manifestation framework with standardized UI components and attribution badges
- Develop developer‑facing UX strategy including scope‑consent flows and partner integration guidelines
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with PM, Engineering, and UXR to translate back‑end architectures into customer‑facing solutions
Key requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
- 6 years of interaction design experience in product design or UX design
- Portfolio or relevant work link required
- Preferred: Master’s in Design, HCI, CS, or related field
- 3 years in a complex, cross‑functional organization
- Experience designing consumer mobile experiences and developer platform utilities
- Experience designing user‑centric privacy, consent, and data governance frameworks
