BMS Service Engineer

Overview

In this role you will service and commission BMS and related control systems across commercial and industrial sites, applying your technical know-how to troubleshoot and optimise building systems. You will work closely with clients to ensure reliable performance, maintain detailed service records, and uphold safety standards. You’ll be part of a team delivering energy-efficient, comfortable environments while progressing your expertise through ongoing training and certifications. Responsibilities

• Service, maintenance, and fault-finding on BMS and related control systems
• Commission new BMS systems and upgrades to client specifications
• Troubleshoot HVAC, lighting, and access control on-site and remotely
• Provide technical support to clients to ensure high customer satisfaction
• Maintain accurate service records and report issues to management
• Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company standards

Key requirements

• Proven experience in BMS service, commissioning, or installation
• Strong knowledge of BMS platforms such as Trend, Tridium, Honeywell, Johnson Controls, or similar
• Solid understanding of electrical, mechanical, and control systems with strong problem-solving skills
• Experience in commercial or industrial environments
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Full UK driving license
• Relevant qualifications in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, or BMS systems (e.g., City & Guilds, HNC, or equivalent)
• Must have the right to work in the UK
