As No.1 Site Manager you will lead a large residential build near Bishops Stortford, ensuring timely delivery of circa 200 flats and houses. You will work with a Project Manager and coach site teams while upholding safety and quality standards. The role focuses on executing build plans across RC frame, timber frame and traditional methods in a reputable housebuilder environment. This is an opportunity to influence on-site performance and contribute to the company’s reputation for quality homes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate on-site teams to deliver the residential project on schedule
• Report to the Project Manager and coordinate day-to-day site activities
• Ensure health and safety compliance on site
• Oversee construction using RC frame, timber frame and traditional methods
• Maintain quality standards and liaise with stakeholders

Key requirements

• Experience as No.1 Site Manager with a reputable housebuilder
• Proven track record on residential schemes
• Strong man-management and teamwork skills
• Good longevity with previous employers
• Health & Safety conscious with SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid
