Overview
In this role, you will safeguard and support the welfare of students across the school, working closely with the Deputy Headteacher and Safeguarding Lead. You will contribute to safeguarding decisions and coordinate with external agencies to protect children. The role sits within a larger Trust context, emphasizing high-quality learning, inclusivity, and staff development. You will help create a safe, supportive environment where students can thrive and feel heard and valued.

Responsibilities
- oversee safeguarding and child protection across the school, including online safety
- participate in inter-agency discussions and meetings
- contribute to assessments of children and decision-making on welfare
- advise and support staff on safeguarding and child protection matters
- liaise with relevant agencies such as local authorities and police
