Project Manager – BMS (contract)

Overview

As a BMS Project Manager, you will lead end-to-end delivery of building management system projects across London. You will coordinate stakeholders, manage budgets and schedules, and provide technical guidance to site teams and clients. You’ll design control strategies and commissioning-focused documentation while staying current with industry developments. This contract role offers hybrid flexibility, exposure to high-profile projects, and the chance to maximize profitability on BMS initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead contract meetings and manage project status from handover to completion
• Collaborate with customers to capture site-specific requirements
• Provide technical guidance to clients and project teams on BMS initiatives
• Manage budgets, supplier orders and project cash flow
• Design control strategies, point lists and system descriptions for commissioning teams
• Stay up to date with industry developments and apply them to projects

Key requirements

• Proven project management experience within the BMS/BEMS industry
• Strong knowledge of Trend, Tridium, Schneider, Siemens systems
• Good understanding of M&E principles and their application to BMS
• Commercial awareness with ability to maximise profitability on projects
• Confident IT skills and ability to train/mentor others
