Overview
In this Associate Director role, you will lead cost consultancy activities for a diverse real estate portfolio within the MEP Real Estate team. You’ll help drive high-quality, value-driven cost management across the project lifecycle, coordinating procurement, tendering and post-contract activities. You’ll mentor teams, uphold safety and values, and ensure clear delivery of project scope to clients. This is a shaping role at scale, leveraging technical expertise to solve complex problems and deliver clients’ objectives.

Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate cost consultancy activities (feasibility estimating, cost planning, procurement, tendering, value engineering, post-contract management)
- Ensure a safe working environment and promote company values

- Contribute to projects requiring technical evaluation, analysis and problem solving
- Provide technical guidance to team members on project and technical matters
- Clearly communicate project scope, roles and responsibilities for successful delivery
- Oversee and manage service delivery to achieve high-quality outcomes and client satisfaction
Key requirements
- Proven track record delivering cost management/quantity surveying across full project lifecycle
- Professionally qualified (RICS or similar) or working towards
- Degree or HNC level qualification
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience delivering MEP elements for clients
- Knowledge and contacts within the MEP supply chain (tier 1 and below)
- Commercially astute with good negotiation skills
