Overview

In this Senior Account Manager role, you act as the main day‑to‑day contact for clients, steering the delivery of multiple medium-to-large projects. You lead on project execution, coach junior teammates, and collaborate with the account lead to shape strategy and finances. You’ll maintain momentum across programs, manage client expectations, and contribute to business development and team growth. Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary day‑to‑day client contact and provide regular status updates
  • Lead large projects from start to finish with minimal supervision
  • Coach and mentor junior team members and support interview processes
  • Identify organic growth opportunities within existing accounts and assist in new business efforts
  • Manage program objectives, timelines, scope, and client expectations
  • Contribute to budgeting, invoicing, forecasting, and resource management
  • Support internal meetings and client calls with a strong understanding of client objectives and strategy
  • Maintain momentum across the program and cover for the account lead when needed
  • Participate in internal initiatives to support culture and development of the Medical Communications team
  • Lead by example to inspire and empower the accounts team
  • Manage and develop team members’ performance and career progression
  • Assist in credential creation and pitch presentations in new business processes

Key requirements

  • Relevant degree in a scientific subject
  • Excellent business communication and presentation skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office tools
  • Medical Education experience; integrated experience preferred
  • Ability to develop client solutions and deliver high‑quality outputs on time and budget
  • Experience coaching and mentoring junior team members
  • High energy and ability to work in a fast‑paced, evolving environment
