Overview

In this Manager role within KPMG’s International Tax team in London, you will advise multinational clients on cross-border tax planning, structuring and compliance. You’ll lead delivery of complex advisory projects, collaborate with cross-border experts, and develop junior staff. The position supports rapid growth and offers exposure to high-profile multinationals and challenging international tax issues. You’ll help shape client strategies amid BEPS 2.0 developments and expanding footprints.

Responsibilities

  • Provide international tax advisory to help clients achieve commercial objectives
  • Lead delivery of high-quality tax structuring, refinancing and structure optimisation projects
  • Oversee pre/post-transaction reorganisations and tax authority inquiries
  • Coordinate input from specialists in other departments and overseas offices
  • Coach and develop junior team members
  • Build and manage client relationships to identify opportunities for tax and related services
  • Prepare and manage proposals, tender documents and client pitches
  • Drive business development and pursue opportunities with Directors and Partners
  • Model KPMG’s values in daily work

Key requirements

  • ACA, CA, CTA, ACCA or equivalent qualified with strong UK corporate tax and accounting knowledge
  • Ability to develop, coach and lead staff and manage stakeholders
  • Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
  • Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills with a commercial approach
  • Pro-active in identifying and progressing business opportunities
  • Ability to multi-task across multiple projects and relationships
