Overview

In this role you will perform planned and reactive maintenance across a portfolio of commercial sites in London and the M25. You will diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, or HVAC issues, service AHUs/FCUs/VRV/VRF systems, and handle general building services tasks. You’ll complete emergency lighting, fire alarm testing, water hygiene tasks, and maintain clear maintenance documentation. Responsibilities

  • Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance across commercial sites
  • Diagnose, fault-find and rectify mechanical, electrical or HVAC issues
  • Service and maintain HVAC systems (AHUs, FCUs, VRV/VRF, pumps, motors)
  • Perform general mechanical/electrical maintenance and plumbing tasks
  • Carry out emergency lighting and fire alarm testing
  • Complete water hygiene and L8 compliance tasks
  • Do general building fabric repairs and maintenance
  • Respond to reactive maintenance across London and M25
  • Complete job sheets and maintenance documentation accurately
  • Maintain excellent customer service and client relationships

Key requirements

  • City & Guilds, NVQ or equivalent qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Air Conditioning or related discipline
  • Proven experience in commercial building services maintenance
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic abilities
  • Clear ME/EC/AC bias
  • Good understanding of commercial HVAC and building services systems
  • Good customer service and communication skills
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Ability to work independently and manage a mobile workload
