Consultant – Transformational Procurement

Overview

In this role you’ll lead transformative procurement initiatives for global clients, redefining operating models and embedding digital and sustainable practices. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to deliver cost and efficiency improvements within complex programmes. You will develop and implement sustainable procurement strategies and target operating models that align with clients’ strategies and ESG goals. This is a chance to shape enterprise-wide procurement transformation for large brands, within a market-leading consultancy.

Responsibilities

• Support clients’ procurement transformation initiatives across industries to modernise systems and align with digital ambitions
• Develop and implement sustainable procurement practices aligned with ESG goals
• Design and implement procurement target operating models for future efficiency and sustainability
• Formulate and execute strategies to achieve cost savings and operational improvements
• Contribute to the Transformational Procurement proposition and thought leadership
• Support delivery of team and business targets

Key requirements

• Procurement and supply chain knowledge from industry or advisory
• Strong research, evaluation, and analysis skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Strong IT and digital skills; interest in tools, systems and data
• Experience with procurement transformation and/or sustainable procurement
• Experience delivering transformative procurement projects
• Experience leveraging digital tools in procurement transformations
• Knowledge of ESG regulatory environments (desirable)
