Electrical Project Engineer

Overview

As an Electrical Project Engineer, you will support coordination and technical delivery of electrical packages on a major Canary Wharf project. You will work closely with design, construction, commercial and commissioning teams to ensure installations are compliant, coordinated, and delivered to programme. You’ll review drawings and specifications, handle RFIs and submittals, and support handover documentation. This role offers exposure to complex electrical systems and a clear path for technical and career development within a collaborative project team.

• Salary of 70,000-80,000

Responsibilities

• Coordinate electrical design and installation information
• Review drawings, specifications, technical submissions and equipment schedules
• Manage RFIs, submittals and technical queries
• Support procurement and ensure materials align with project requirements
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors and other disciplines
• Monitor installation quality and technical compliance
• Attend design, progress and coordination meetings
• Support testing, commissioning and handover documentation
• Maintain accurate engineering records and trackers

Key requirements

• Electrical engineering experience within building services
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and installations
• Ability to review technical drawings and specifications
• Experience coordinating with design and site teams
• Good knowledge of quality, commissioning and handover processes
