Overview
In this role you will deliver a broad range of Building Surveying services for a regional client base across the South West and Wales, supporting investors, landlords, occupiers and developers. You will own workstreams, build long-term client relationships, and contribute to the growth of the Bristol Building Consultancy. You’ll mentor junior team members and collaborate across the Project & Development Services group. The role offers hybrid working and real opportunities to influence projects and service delivery at scale.

Responsibilities
- Deliver Dilapidations (landlord & tenant)
- Conduct Technical Due Diligence (TDD)
- Contract Administration & Employer’s Agent duties
- Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM)
- Reinstatement Cost Assessments (RCA)
- Schedules of Condition
- Building pathology and defect diagnosis
- Be regional point of contact for clients
- Mentor junior team members
- Support business development, client retention and bid activity
- Contribute to projects across the South West, Wales and wider UK when required
Key requirements
- MRICS-qualified
- Building Surveying experience (1–5 years PQE ideal)
- Strong track record in delivering core professional instructions
- Experience in project delivery (CAT A/B refurbishments, maintenance works, minor works)
- Confident communicator with strong report writing skills
- Commercially aware, organised and proactive
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team
- Experience with regional investor, developer or occupier clients is an advantage
