Overview

In this Senior Director role, you will lead the Transport coverage within Fitch’s EMEA Energy, Natural Resources & Infrastructure group from London. You guide ratings analysis, sector research, and market engagement for transport-related project finance, infrastructure, and corporates, while managing a team of eight analysts. You shape rating opinions, chair rating discussions, and drive development of rationales and market commentary. Responsibilities

  • Lead ratings analysis, execution and research on new and existing Transport transactions (project finance/infrastructure and corporates)
  • Chair or lead rating committee discussions and provide senior judgment on credit analysis
  • Oversee development of rating rationales, sector outlooks, and market commentary
  • Represent Fitch externally in meetings with issuers, sponsors, banks, investors, and advisors
  • Lead, mentor, and develop analysts within the transport corporate and project finance team
  • Foster a positive, collaborative and high-performing work environment
  • Champion analytical excellence and operational efficiency by adopting best practices and leveraging new technologies
  • Manage a team of 8 analysts and coordinate across multiple locations

Key requirements

  • 12+ years of relevant experience in credit analysis in corporates and/or project finance/infrastructure
  • Experience managing people and teams
  • Bachelor’s degree; CFA, MBA, or other advanced qualification preferred
