Senior Resource Manager

Overview

As Senior Resource Manager at Clio, you own regional staffing strategy across EMEA, NAMER, and APAC to support Sales, Customer Success, and Service Desk initiatives. You forecast demand, allocate talent, and manage capacity to maximize profitability and efficiency. You partner with PS leadership, CS, and Partners to align resources with business goals, while developing capabilities and ensuring timely onboarding and upskilling. This role blends planning, people leadership, and data-driven decision making in a high-growth legal tech environment.

Responsibilities

• Review weekly demand with PS leadership, sales, and CS to identify service gaps
• Strategically align demand with appropriate resourcing groups
• Allocate personnel with appropriate skills based on availability
• Resolve scheduling bottlenecks and negotiate project priorities
• Monitor utilisation across internal, partner, and contractor staff across regions
• Forecast future staffing needs and plan capacity ahead of demand
• Define regional role requirements and secure approvals for hiring demand
• Collaborate with partner and contractor hires for regional augmentation
• Coordinate with Training Manager to plan training for new hires
• Maintain role competency frameworks and conduct regular skill gap analysis
• Ensure training progression tracking and successful upskilling
• Ensure timely internal hires with learning pathways
• Provide opportunities for upskilled resources to work on projects
• Track billable and non-billable hours for profitability and cost reporting
• Provide performance data on resource utilisation and project status to senior management

Key requirements

• 5+ years in project management, resource planning, or consulting in a large Professional Services organization
• Strategic thinking to align capacity with long-term goals
• Analytical skills for forecasting and optimization
• Strong communication and negotiation with cross-functional stakeholders
