Overview
As a General Practitioner at Operose Health, you deliver high-quality primary care at scale within the CGH Partnership. You collaborate with clinical leads and practice teams to support the surgery’s operational plan and uphold clinical governance standards. You will manage triage-based patient care, including in-person, video, and telephone consultations, while focusing on improving access, outcomes and patient experience. Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality clinical care to registered and attending patients and support the surgery’s operational plan with clinical leads and local practice team
- Maintain quality standards through clinical governance and participate in audits and QOF-related activities
- Provide clinical care per the job plan within the total triage model, including in-person/video consultations, telephone triage, results interpretation, medication reviews, and prescription signing
- Undertake clinical administration, safeguarding, medicals, reports, home visits, and participate in surgery meetings and on-call duties (excluding out-of-hours)
- Adhere to GMC standards and prioritise patient-centred care
- Collaborate with the Practice Manager and site clinical lead to develop, deliver, and review the surgery action plan, monitor list growth and patient satisfaction, and manage resources and costs
Key requirements
- Current GMC registration and NHS Performers List
- GP accreditation (MRCGP or equivalent)
- Knowledge of QOF, LCS, DES, CQUINs
- Experience with clinical coding and working knowledge of SystmOne or EMISweb
