Operational Due Diligence – Manager, Strategy and Execution – EY Parthenon

Overview

In EY-Parthenon, you will help drive value through operational due diligence and strategic execution for complex transactions. You’ll work with cross‑functional teams, support business origination, and shape recommendations for senior clients under tight timelines. The role blends strategy with transaction expertise to deliver practical actions, including pre‑ and post‑deal activities and restructuring initiatives. You will contribute to building a strong practice and support junior colleagues while working in a globally connected, inclusive culture.

Responsibilities

• Assist in business origination, including pitches and client presentations to win work
• Advise clients across sectors on value-creation strategies during transactions
• Contribute to practice development and maintain a strong team culture
• Lead blended project teams and manage meetings with senior client stakeholders to drive integration, carve-out/separation, and operational restructuring planning
• Oversee engagement management, including commercials and risk
• Act as a role model, supporting the development of junior team members and involvement in recruitment/training
• Summarise analyses into actionable management insights at pace
• Support broader IT and operational transaction work as needed

Key requirements

• Professional services/consulting experience
• Transactions experience (due diligence, carve-out, integrations) or deep understanding of core operational functions
• Strong analytical skills linking operational analysis to financial statements
• Experience building relationships with senior clients and influencing decision makers
• Experience supporting sales and business development in large-scale consulting
• Track record of delivering projects with team and vendor management
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for high‑quality reports and presentations
