Senior Product Specialist

Overview

As a QIS Structurer at LSEG, you will originate and shape new quantitative investment products within the FTSE Russell platform. You’ll work with research and distribution partners to expand cross-asset QIS capabilities and integrate derivatives-based data. You’ll produce research and marketing content while collaborating with sales to identify markets and clients. Your role blends technology, finance, and client-facing collaboration to deliver scalable, high-integrity strategies. Responsibilities

• Develop new QIS products across asset classes with research and distribution partners
• Drive innovation in index construction and derivatives-based data integration
• Produce white papers and marketing collateral; support sales marketing
• Contribute to business planning, target markets and client segmentation with distribution partners
• Act as subject matter expert with clients to ensure performance and representativeness of strategies
• Write index methodologies and collaborate with IT on front-to-back architecture
• Expand Python-based backtesting engine with OOP principles
• Analyze and optimize existing codebase for performance and maintainability

Key requirements

• QIS structurer experience in a bank (preferred)
• Advanced degree or equivalent in finance, mathematics, computer science, or related field
• Deep understanding of financial markets, systematic investment strategies, derivatives pricing, and risk management
