Business Systems Analyst – Global Supply Chain Systems

Overview

In this role you will support resupply ordering and inventory replenishment across CooperVision’s global network. You will bridge Global Supply Chain and Information Services to ensure IT systems and processes meet demand, supply, and on-time fulfillment needs. You will configure applications, manage data interfaces, and support ERP/WMS interoperability to enable efficient product flow. Your work will directly impact service levels and operational efficiency in a complex, multi-site environment. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role offering opportunities to shape how technology enables a global supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Document process flows, functional and interface requirements for IT systems
• Audit technical designs from IS development teams
• Test new code to verify it meets operational needs
• Support code deployments and resolve post-deployment incidents
• Perform data analysis to identify root causes and drive corrective actions
• Communicate with users to resolve issues and implement mitigations
• Define functional and system requirements and document configurations
• Lead requirements analysis, design, test planning, and SDLC activities
• Coordinate project tasks, schedules, and resources across teams
• Develop test scenarios and use cases considering cross-functional impact
• Oversee software releases and implement deployment plans
• Deliver end-user training on system functionality

Key requirements

• SQL/query skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to analyze large datasets in Excel/SSMS
• Strong written/oral communication and ability to translate business to IT
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented
• Experience with global supply chain planning applications (e.g., o9 Solutions, Logility Voyager) or similar
• Understanding of core supply chain processes (S&OP, Distribution/Operations Planning, LRP)
• Bachelor of Science degree in relevant field or equivalent experience
