Overview
In this role you will provide technical direction for multi-disciplinary water teams on clean water and wastewater projects, including large design-build schemes up to 200M. You will shape design delivery in close collaboration with water companies and contractors, contributing to major AMP8 frameworks in the UK. You’ll lead design development from concept to construction, mentor teams, and ensure safe, efficient delivery to high technical and quality standards. Responsibilities
- Provide technical direction to multi-disciplinary water teams
- Shape design and delivery of clean water and wastewater projects
- Lead large design and build projects and manage client interfaces
- Develop and evaluate design solutions from concept to preferred solution
- Oversee design through construction, commissioning, and handover
- Lead, mentor, and develop multidisciplinary teams
Key requirements
- Chartered Engineer with post-chartership qualifications or equivalent experience in Civil/Water, Mechanical, Electrical, or Process/Water Engineering
- Extensive experience in clean water, wastewater, and sludge treatment projects
- Experience managing client interfaces to meet technical, programme, and quality requirements
- Skilled in developing design concepts and moving to preferred solutions
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders
