Responsibilities
- Support children aged 2–5 within nursery and Early Years settings, with opportunities to work in Key Stage 1
- Create a safe, caring and stimulating environment where children can thrive
- Encourage early communication, language, literacy and numeracy development through play
- Support children’s social, emotional and personal development
- Assist with daily routines, including mealtimes, personal care and transitions throughout the day
- Build positive relationships with children, families and school staff
- Adapt activities to meet the needs of all learners, including children with SEND
- Help create an inclusive and engaging learning environment where every child feels valued

- Passionate about supporting young children’s learning and development
- Calm, patient and naturally nurturing
- Confident building positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
- Comfortable supporting children aged 2–5, with some KS1 experience desirable
