Sr Product Manager – Technical, Tax Engine, Tax Engine

Overview

As a Sr PM-T, you will define and drive the Entity Management product roadmap within Amazon’s Tax Services. You will lead cross-functional efforts to collect and validate tax data used across billions of calculations, balancing customer needs with compliance and business impact. You’ll thrive in ambiguity, propagate clear requirements, and measure outcomes to show how features move the business forward. This high-visibility role offers the chance to shape a scalable, data-driven tax data platform and work with engineering, UX, tax, and legal teams to deliver impact.

Responsibilities

• Influence the development and execution of feature roadmaps aligned with product strategy
• Explain how features affect strategic value, usability, and performance of Entity Management
• Prioritize trade-offs among customer experience, scope, and time to market
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and business development partners to plan and deliver
• Create detailed user stories with acceptance criteria for specs and architecture
• Define and analyze metrics to measure product success
• Own end-to-end roadmap for discrete features from requirements to implementation
• Partner with Tax Services engineering to ensure scalable design for Amazon’s business and compliance needs

Key requirements
