Associate MEP Cost Consultant in Southampton

Overview

In this role you will deliver cost consultancy for public and private sector projects, focusing on MEP works. You will work with our south-east team to provide clear cost advice, deliver accurate reports, and help manage project costs. You’ll build strong client relationships and support project delivery across pre- and post-contract stages. The position offers international mobility and a clear path for progression within a digitally-led, ambitious firm.

Responsibilities

• Provide clear, accurate cost advice and reports to clients
• Support the team to deliver projects and commissions
• Manage project costs with limited supervision
• Prepare estimates for M&E works
• Handle pre-contract budgeting, bid leveling and post-contract work
• Build strong relationships with clients and colleagues

Key requirements

• BSc in quantity surveying
• RICS membership, or working towards it
• At least five years in technical delivery
• Firm grasp of project cost control
• Confident client-facing and communication skills
• CostX experience is a bonus
• Full driving licence
