Responsibilities
- Deliver nuclear design work for UK public and private sector clients
- Prepare detailed technical structural designs
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver projects
- Manage project delivery
- Mentor and develop team members’ technical skills
Key requirements
- Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or working towards with MICE or MIStructE
- Expertise in one or more structural engineering specialties
- Ability to prepare designs for various construction materials with minimal supervision
- Knowledge of design guides, regulations, processes for Structural Engineering
- Proven delivery track record and ability to guide technical personnel
- Knowledge of relevant design tools, IT systems, and software
- Understanding of design principles and application
- Working knowledge of European and American Standards
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated, autonomous, and collaborative in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment
