As an Environmental Consultant, you will lead cradle-to-grave management of environmental incidents and supervise investigations to assess contamination and risks. You will work with management and contractors to deliver remediation across diverse sites, and you may support desktop assessments for incidents globally. Responsibilities

  • Cradle-to-grave management of environmental incidents
  • Supervision of site investigations to determine contamination extent and risk
  • Deliver site remediation across diverse sites and scales
  • Provide desktop consulting for incidents (UK/global)
  • Collaborate with management and trusted contractors to meet remediation goals
  • Flexible travel within the UK as required

Key requirements

  • Degree related to environmental science (preferably Master’s) or relevant work experience
  • Extensive experience in insurance, commercial & domestic sector environmental investigation (desirable)
  • Knowledge of remediation techniques (desirable)
  • Demonstrable history of contaminated site work
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Strong communication and collaboration
  • Problem-solving and analytical thinking
  • Adaptability and willingness to travel
