Quantity Surveyor – Piling

Overview

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor in a respected civil and ground engineering contractor, you will manage commercial aspects across piling and ground works. You’ll work within a collaborative team to deliver value on UK projects, ensuring financial control and effective procurement. You’ll interface with clients and subcontractors to support project objectives, quality, and sustainability. This is a hands-on role with scope to shape commercial processes on diverse schemes.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of valuations/applications for payment
• Preparation of cost reports to the client
• Management of subcontract and material procurement schedules
• Administration of subcontractor/supplier accounts
• Contract administration including change management and registers

Key requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering
• Progressed steadily from an engineering background
• Previously worked on civil sectors
• Chartered or Working towards Chartership
• Experience of managing a team of on-site staff (engineers, forepersons, etc)
