Delivery Manager

Overview

In this role you will shape, mobilise and deliver technology-enabled change for clients, applying programme, portfolio and project management disciplines. You will navigate the full delivery lifecycle and maintain focus on outcomes and value, potentially leading major workstreams or large programmes. You’ll advise executive sponsors, assure delivery quality, and build long-term client relationships in a cross-functional setting. Responsibilities

• Shape and mobilise projects, programmes and workstreams with defined outcomes, scope, approach, governance and success measures
• Establish and manage robust PPM controls including plans, milestones, resources, budgets, risks, issues, dependencies, decisions, and benefits
• Lead multidisciplinary client, supplier and internal teams to maintain momentum and achieve outcomes
• Provide clear, concise reporting and recommendations to senior stakeholders and governance forums
• Build trusted client relationships and navigate competing priorities and trade-offs
• Tailor predictive, Agile and hybrid delivery methods to client contexts
• Anticipate delivery challenges, diagnose root causes and intervene to recover performance
• Manage delivery quality and commercials while contributing to proposals and continuous improvement

Key requirements

• 5+ years’ experience in client-facing consulting or professional services with a track record delivering technology-enabled change
• Extensive hands-on delivery management and PPM experience (governance, planning, budgets, resources, risks, dependencies, change and benefits)
• Holds a recognised PPM qualification (e.g. MSP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, APM PMQ, PMP or MoP)
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and deliver complex projects from mobilisation through implementation
• Strong problem-structuring skills to turn ambiguity into practical recommendations
• Confident engaging senior stakeholders and communicating difficult messages clearly
• Solid understanding of predictive, Agile and hybrid delivery approaches and their tailoring to engagement needs
