Senior Android Software Engineer – Grow

Overview

In this role within Wise Assets, you will help build and deploy a customer-facing investment feature set that lets users decide how to hold and grow their money. You’ll contribute to a fast-growing product used across multiple regions, shaping the user experience and ensuring transparent, fair returns. You work with Kotlin and modern architectures to deliver reliable, testable code that meets real user needs. This is a chance to impact how customers manage money with clarity and ease.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy customer-focused asset management features for Wise Assets
• Collaborate within the team to design scalable Kotlin-based back-end solutions
• Implement REST APIs and ensure they are well-documented and reliable
• Write testable code and contribute to code quality through reviews
• Focus on user needs and prioritize work using data-driven decisions
• Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
• Participate in CI/CD pipelines and contribute to deployment automation

Key requirements

• Proven experience building and deploying customer-facing applications
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin
• Familiarity with modern app architectures (Unidirectional Data Flow, Dependency Injection, Structured Concurrency with Kotlin Coroutines)
• Desire to write testable code
• Understanding of REST API design
• Strong product mindset and user experience focus
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
