Overview

As Exotics Single Stocks Trader, you will manage a sophisticated book of single stocks and custom indices across vanilla and exotic derivatives. You’ll trade to hit revenue targets while controlling multi-dimensional risk, collaborating with Sales, Structuring, and other desks to expand the franchise. The role offers strategic influence, autonomy, and opportunities to shape product innovation in a dynamic asset class. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions and robust risk management for institutional and retail clients.

Responsibilities

  • Trade and manage the Single Stocks Exotics book, delivering revenue while controlling delta, gamma, vega, correlation, and earnings/event risk
  • Provide two-way pricing and market-making for client flow across structured products and exotic-to-vanilla links
  • Anticipate client demand and co-create bespoke baskets with Sales and Structuring
  • Maintain strategic relationships with internal and external counterparties to drive growth and optimize execution
  • Coordinate cross-desk collaboration to manage inter-book risk and hedging strategies
  • Lead governance, controls, and compliance with Legal, Risk, Audit, and Finance
  • Manage corporate action events and contract adjustments affecting pricing and hedging
  • Partner with Sales to structure and execute risk-recycling solutions

Key requirements

  • Direct trading or structuring experience in Equity Derivatives with exotic products and multi-asset risk management
  • Advanced quantitative and analytical capability with options pricing, stochastic volatility, and risk scenario analysis
  • Strong technical proficiency with Bloomberg Terminal and trading platforms; programming experience in Python or VBA
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for stakeholder and client engagement
  • Proven ability to pitch structured solutions and balance revenue with risk
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related quantitative discipline; advanced degrees or certifications preferred
