Overview
In this role you will lead the technical delivery of MEP services for a high-profile data centre project in London. You will coordinate design, submittals, and commissioning, acting as the main technical link between design teams, subcontractors, and site operations. You will drive design optimisation, risk management, and a smooth handover to client teams. This is a fast-paced, quality-driven opportunity to shape the performance and reliability of critical infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Lead review, coordination and management of all MEP design and technical submittals to align with project specs, programme and client requirements
- Drive design optimisation and value engineering to improve efficiency and system performance while maintaining quality
- Act as primary technical contact across internal teams, consultants and subcontractors to ensure clear communication and issue resolution
- Oversee commissioning processes to ensure systems are tested, validated, and handed over per standards and client expectations
- Ensure works comply with codes, standards and QA/QC requirements, proactively identifying and mitigating risks throughout the lifecycle
Key requirements
- 10+ years’ experience on MEP-focused projects including data centres
- Degree-level qualifications or equivalent trades background
- Based within commutable distance to London
